Hotel Bahia is a charming, elegant, welcoming and fabulous place to stay. Not only is the owner genuinely cheerful, helpful, fun, extremely caring and hospitable, so are the staff. Each and everyone of them, from front desk to waiters to cleaning staff. All so happy to help you and give you the best service. The hotel is situated in a perfect location as it is overlooking the beach, is on the same street as all the shops, bars and restaurants but almost hidden, when I arrived I thought it was someones house with its elegant gate and stairs leading up to the entrance, just fabulous. The breakfast is more than you could imagine or eat and the 5 course dinner at 18 euros is incredible value and delicious! The rooms are extremely clean and well laid out, each with a balcony or patio. The grounds are landscaped beautifully, the pool is freshwater and all in all my stay was comfortable, happy and I felt very welcome. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy their holiday in luxury and at a very good price.

The breakfast was marvellous with bacon and the nicest coffee and cooked eggs, and the restaurant was good. Got a nice size double room with a view when arrived, thoroughly enjoyed that. Stunning location and overall the staff was friendly attentive.

Clean rooms
The only way I describe this is as an "old man" hotel - very traditional, breakfast was "meh" and not a lot of personality in general. Over-priced for what you get and definitely over-rated on this site. It's clean, but its nothing special. And the area it's in caters mainly to German tourists.

Tastefully decorated and generous sized units with the bedroom, balconies and fresh towels.
Highly unprofessional staff!

Very kind personnel of the hotel, location, swimming pool, realxing atmosphere.
Early morning (starts at 8:00 am) noise from the cleaning lady; poor sound insulation (I could hear a guest snoring in the room next to me).

I loved staying in the double room with a view. the location was perfect, very close to the main shops and restaurants. - the gardens were well tended. - the hotel is family-run, which adds a nice touch. - Went to De Tapas Bar Cafeteria for a drink or two, as it's conveniently located near the hotel.

Location was good - just a short walk to the beach. Room was quite basic but okay. Breakfast was quite extensive and good. Staff were helpful although their English was a little limited. It is a very German based resort.
We originally requested a double room but when we arrived found it was a twin room and fairly dark and at the back of the hotel. We were told that a double room was not available until two days later - our stay was four nights. But they did move us into a double room for the remaining two nights and this was a much better, bigger & brighter room altogether. The wifi didn't work in our original room so we had to go into the lounge area to use the laptop.

Hotel located just opposite the beach, making it very convenient for a beach lover like myself. The rooms were a touch small, but the en suites and overall cleanliness made up for it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offered a good range of tasty choices. The hotel had a lovely pool area and terrace where you could relax and enjoy the sun.
The food at the hotel was poor overall. The coffee was of low quality and the tea was invariably lukewarm at best.
